-opening and closing the store -answering phone calls and making customer calls -repair intakes and jewellery inspections -organizing and managing jewelry in the cases -helping customers find their perfect piece of jewelry -create customer profiles and keep up with appointments for events -checking out customers at registers and boxing/packaging their items -meet sales goals monthly and yearly -learn and have understanding of store policies, warranty options, financial options, and jewelry knowledge to best prepare to help customers in all situations -will be expected to make bank runs (nearby the store) The ideal candidate will have:
High school diploma or equivalent.
2 years of sales experience.
2 years of customer service experience.
A background in retail, sales, or marketing.
A passion for retail and customer service.
A strong attention to detail.
A reliable, trustworthy, and professional demeanor.
A passion for retail and customer service.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities:
Meet or exceed sales goals and performance quotas.
Meet or exceed store performance goals for productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain a positive business and community relationship with local retailers and customers.
Ensure that store merchandise standards are maintained and promoted.
Lead by example and mentor new employees in your role.
Requirements:
Must be able to pass a background check with limited criminal history drug screening background check requirements (no felony convictions) including but not limited to:
drug testing, driver's license verification, social security number verification, credit card verification, etc.
