Capital Guard Security is looking for professionally minded Security Officers to put their security and customer service skills to task for our clients premises and protection of staff and visitors.
You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior, preventing vandalism, thefts, or other criminal behavior.
A security officer must be safety conscience and provide outstanding customer service.
The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority with a professional demeanor, as well as possess a high level of integrity, honesty and discipline.

24 years of age or older Driver's License Reliable transportation Personal cell phone Reliable and punctual Clean, neat appearance Ability to make quick, analytical decisions.
A strong desire to develop your skills and abilities.
Responsibilities Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences Administering Client site security procedures and post orders.
Access control of persons, vehicles, and other property.
Site surveillance by either foot or vehicle.
Identifying and reporting security and safety violations.
Maintaining files for security-related documentation.
Assisting Client staff in emergency situations.
Ensure that prompt action is taken to prevent or minimize losses.
accidents, fires, property damages, safety hazards, and security incidents.
Assist management in the design and execution of a highly effective and site tested fire and life safety program.
Operate security console, security system, elevator system, fire and life safety system, andother safety devices installed and maintained by Client.
Monitor alarms, surveillance screens, and recording devices.
Investigate unusual occurrences in and about the premises.
Follow written instructions that outline specific activities and conduct of officers.
These instructions will clarify and identify Client agents that have authority to direct contract security employees.
Maintain site-specific instructions and post orders at security console.
Skills Proven experience as security officer or guard Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety Familiarity with report writing Excellent surveillance and observation skills Friendly Environment EOE/Minorities/Females/Protected Vets/Disabilities/LGBT Job Type:
