- Serve as a substitute teacher in various classrooms and grade levels - Implement lesson plans provided by the absent teacher - Maintain a positive and productive learning environment - Manage classroom behavior and ensure student engagement - Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners - Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents - Follow school policies and procedures - Complete required administrative tasks, such as taking attendance Skills:
- Strong math skills to effectively teach math concepts - Experience working with preschool-aged children - Proficient in behavior management techniques - Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain order - Excellent communication skills to interact with students, staff, and parents - Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies - Experience working with students on the autism spectrum - Ability to educate and inspire students in the absence of the regular teacher Please note that this is a general job description for a substitute teacher position.
