Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, watering, and exercising - Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas - Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff - Monitor the health and well-being of animals and report any concerns to the veterinary team - Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing animals - Handle animals safely and securely during procedures or examinations - Provide excellent customer service to pet owners
Experience:
- Previous experience in pet care or veterinary settings is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and physical tasks associated with animal care Skills:
- Strong animal handling skills, including the ability to safely restrain animals when necessary - Knowledge of proper pet care practices and basic medical procedures - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment - Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately This position offers an opportunity to work with animals in a professional setting.
