Account Manager

We?re currently seeking an Account Manager. This role is responsible for supporting new and existing clients in the area of snow and ice removal. ?Responsibilities will include; identification and engagement, estimate support, renewal planning, contract compliance and administration, production planning, start-up / shutdown processes, in-storm and post-storm responsibilities. Our Account Manager?s work closely with the owner and upper management to achieve profit goals for the company while consistently improving market share.?

What is Expected


Service Partner Identification & Engagement

  • Procurement/outreach

  • On-site visits/Relationship development

  • Onboarding ? General contract collection and compliance, including reference checking

  • Lead Subcontractor optimization to ensure quality and efficiency

  • Assist in subcontractor pricing reviews/negotiations

  • Responsible for bidding potential clients and generating new business


Contract / Renewal Support

  • Support owner and upper management with new opportunities, renewal targets, service proposals and contract creation

  • Support with collection of critical data needed to estimate properly

  • Review estimates and give feedback

  • Support Planner meetings

  • Coordinate with Process Specialist to ensure accurate data information


Contract Compliance / Administration?

  • Regular review of contract collection status

  • Ensures contracted prices match timesheets, billing sheets

  • Assists in creation of subcontractor agreements and pricing exhibits (ensures profit margin maintenance/expansion)

  • Help in pricing negotiations

  • Assist in subcontractor document collection

  • Ensure all subcontractor documents are uploaded in a timely fashion


Safety / Training

  • Participate in all aspects training with in the company and as required by clients

Production Planning

  • Coordinate to validate Production/Snow Organizational Charts

  • Ensures all jobs have subcontractors and are contracted

  • High priority/profile site mapping, scripting

Start-up Process

  • Assist in Preseason Damage Inspections including photo documenting, reporting, subcontractor, tour completion, and uploading photos/scanning reports

  • Assist/confirm sites are staked by target dates


In-Storm / Post-Storm Responsibilities

  • Support clients and subcontractors as needed

  • Aid in timesheet collection

  • Assist in collection of subcontractor invoices/timesheet when needed


Shut-Down Process

  • Assist in Post Season Damage Inspections including photo documenting, reporting, subcontractor tour completion, and uploading photos/scanning reports

  • Communicate to Management damages noted and ensure communication to the client with repair expectations

  • Communicate to the client the damages that need repair, get schedule dates

  • Ensure all documented damage is repaired to client satisfaction

  • Assist in Customer Signoff/Vendor retainage


Candidate we are Seeking

2 or 4 year Business related degree; 2 or 4 year general degree with coursework in the landscape field or certification by a landscape association; or equivalent industry experience, with or without degree?

5 years supervisory experience in the snow and ice management arena preferred?

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
